Coffee Shop
Coffee Shops mainly produce dairy and food waste. Very little grease is produced. A manual grease trap of minimum 100 litre capacity is normally the best option here. An air blower can also help keep odours to a minimum. Coffee Guardians on coffee sinks or coffee machine wastes are also recommended. |
Supermarket
Deli sinks in supermarkets produce more food waste than grease however, grease traps are required on all wash up sinks. A manual grease trap or small Automatic Grease removal unit are the best options here. Sometimes, underground polyethylene tanks are fitted outside if you have enough space. For food preparation sinks, Food Guardians should be fitted. |

Due to medium volumes of grease and food waste produced, Automatic Grease Removal units are the best options for City Restaurants. Manual grease traps or underground grease removal units may also be fitted if enough space outside is available for underground tanks. Hotel Due to high volumes of grease and food waste, Automatic Grease Removal units are most commonly fitted in hotel ktichens. They may require several units depending on where the sinks and combi-ovens are located. Sports/Music Stadia Large basement Automatic Grease Removal units are most commonly fitted here due to the spread of kitchens over several levels. |
